Chattogram International Documentary Film Festival (CIDFF) is excited to announce its 2nd edition, taking place from February 6 to 8, 2025, in Chattogram, Bangladesh. Known for its scenic beauty, nestled between the Bay of Bengal and the hill tracts, Chattogram once again becomes the vibrant hub for global documentary storytelling.
Our first edition in 2024, showcased seven films from France, Bangladesh, and India. Most of the films premiered for the first time in Bangladesh. This year’s festival continues its mission of connecting local narratives with global perspectives. CIDFF 2025 will feature a diverse lineup of compelling international documentaries alongside a special spotlight on the unique cinematic traditions of the Chattogram Hill Tracts, offering a window into the region’s rich cultural heritage and storytelling practices. This year we are committed to not use any ‘single use plastic’ material in the festival promotion and the premises.
